What is Encore?

Encore is the library's new interface to the library catalog that functions more like a search engine. It features:

  • A simple starting point– just type in your search terms and go!
  • Many options for refining your search, by format (book, DVD, etc.), year of publication, subject heading ("tag"), and more.
  • Suggested titles ("popular choices") that match your search.

Digital Media from OSL

 

 

The Digital Media Download Site is available 24/7 to all Ocean State Library (OSL) cardholders.

Using your OSL library card and your personal computer (or compatible device), you can browse, check out, and download eBooks, audio books, music, and video from E-Zone to enjoy at home, at work, or when you travel.

By logging in to your OSL Library Account, you can access your patron record. You can renew materials eligible for renewal online and check the status of your OSL Account. Here you can find out what materials you have checked out, how much you owe in fines, and what items you may have on hold.
